A pro-government deputy has unexpectedly resigned from Armenia’s parliament, citing serious disagreements with Minister of Education, Culture and Sports Arayik Harutiunian.
More than a thousand ethnic Armenian citizens of Lebanon have immigrated to Armenia since last month’s devastating explosion at Beirut port warehouses, according to a government agency in Yerevan.
“Cosmopolitan,” a popular international magazine for young women, appears to have become the best-selling glossy publication in Armenia less than seven months after the launch of its Armenian-language edition.
